Happy Thanksgiving to All
I love this time of the year, so far it's been great.My family take turns at my house and Chenier's house on Thanksgiving. Seems to be the only time my family sit down together and share a really big meal. Of cause I do most of the cooking,but everyone helps out. I feel this is my family's day. I often think about my mother she would cook every Thanksgiving and she didn't care if we went somewhere else to eat as long as we ate together as a family. Mom as long as i live we will always share this day together. Miss you Annie Waller
Marilyn, we grew up in the projects to working class families, that always made a way for us. Some of my fondest memories are of holiday gatherings; particularly Thanksgiving and Christmas. I miss my parents so much; especially during this time of the year. Like your mother, my mother used to cook up a storm for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Rest in peace Ann, Vergie, Warren and Mr. Lubie Waller.
